Meet Shelby

I’m so glad you’re here! I can’t wait to connect with you about photographing  your equine partner or crafting your next story!

Based in Southeast Michigan, I was raised on the back of a horse, where my love for all things human and horse connection was sparked. It wasn’t long until I discovered my passion for photography, often practicing on my friends and their horses during shows. I haven’t stopped capturing the bond between riders and their beloved four legged best friends since!

When I am not behind the camera lens or in the saddle, I am composing stories, generating SEO focused product copy (it’s always fun applying my marketing degree chops for horsey topics), or writing blogs related to the equine community. I’m always thrilled to reach equestrian readers of all audiences, whether they are learning about another inspiring rider or searching for their new favorite barn item.

I currently share the best of both worlds - I compete in the exhilarating sport of cutting with my amazing mare and have been slowly taking on jumping with my best boy, a talented little ranch gelding, turned hunter pony (pictured here). When I tell you I love meeting riders and horses of all disciplines and backgrounds, I mean it!
